The Challenge

As the organization looked to expand its education and market-development activities, it faced a gap that couldn't be filled by hiring one or two trainers: it needed an entire training academy, and it had none of the pieces in place. There was no curriculum, no operational structure to run courses on an ongoing basis, no brand or materials to present the academy to the market, and no clear line between what the academy would offer internally to staff versus externally to investors, brokers, and listed companies.

Rather than build this piecemeal in-house, the organization wanted a partner who could design and stand up the academy as a complete, functioning entity, not just deliver a set of training slides.

Our Approach

Think Growth Consulting was engaged to design, build, and help launch the academy end-to-end, covering both the audiences it needed to serve.

The engagement covered five areas:

  1. 1

Curriculum design: structuring a course framework that worked for two distinct audiences at once: internal staff development, and external education for investors, brokers, and listed companies.

  2. 2

Academy operations: establishing how the academy would actually run day to day, from scheduling and course delivery to how new courses would be developed and added over time.

  3. 3

Brand and content creation: including brochures and website content, so the academy had a professional, market-ready identity from launch rather than an internal-only feel.

  4. 4

Direct delivery: personally running a number of the academy's courses rather than only designing them on paper, ensuring the curriculum worked in practice and setting the standard for how future sessions should be delivered.

  5. 5

Event coordination: arranging academy-related events to support launch visibility and ongoing engagement with both staff and the external market.

These weren't sequenced as separate workstreams. The curriculum shaped what the operating model needed to support, the brand and content gave the academy credibility to present externally, and direct delivery tested the whole system in practice before it was handed over to run on its own.

The Solution

The result was a fully operational training academy, launched with the structure, content, and credibility to serve both internal and external audiences from day one:

  • A dual-audience curriculum: that served internal staff development and external market education without compromising either.

  • A functioning operating model: for running courses on an ongoing basis, not just a one-time training event.

  • A professional public identity: with brochures and website content that positioned the academy as a serious, standalone offering rather than an internal side project.

  • Proven course delivery: with several courses run directly, giving the organization a tested template to build future sessions on.

  • Market visibility: through events that introduced the academy to its intended audiences and built early momentum.

Why It Matters

Standing up a training academy from nothing is fundamentally different from improving an existing one: it requires building the curriculum, the operations, the brand, and the market presence all at once, and getting the sequencing right so none of those pieces launch ahead of the others. By taking the academy from concept to a running, publicly-facing entity, this engagement gave the organization a durable education platform it can keep expanding, rather than a one-off training initiative.
